Federal-Mogul’s Carter Brand Offers Aftermarket Replacement Fuel Modules for Honda Odyssey, Acura TL Models

The new Honda Odyssey (No. P76415M) and Acura TL (No. P76421M) in-tank modules deliver factory-specified fuel pressure and flow and match the dimensions, electrical connections and inlet/outlet locations of the original equipment units, according to the company. In addition, each Carter fuel pump and module is 100-percent tested for proper performance before shipping.

Federal-Mogul has reported that its Carter fuel delivery products brand now offers the aftermarket replacement fuel modules for 2005-2010 3.5-liter Honda Odyssey and 2007-2008 3.5-liter Acura TL models. The company says this first-to-market coverage reflects Federal-Mogul’s aggressive continued investment in original equipment-style replacement fuel products for foreign nameplate applications.

all comebacks, determine the reason (tech error, part error, training issue,
other) and then calculate the true cost of the comeback.
Here are a few things to consider:
• The loss of time when performing the comeback; time that the tech can use to
perform other work and generate profit;
• The misc costs, such as overhead costs, supplies, cleaners, etc.;
• Towing costs, rental, etc.;
• Cost to morale;
• Reputation damage; and
• Reduction to your profit margin.
For every part issue, you need to
inform your supplier. Sit down with suppliers on a regular basis. Don’t return defective
parts until you have listed the parts, and maintain a report. Document
everything.
Part issues are increasing. Every shop
owner I speak to is frustrated over this.
Remember, comebacks kill your bottom
line. The more comebacks you have, the more they’re killing your profits.
