Brembo Opens New US Aftermarket Distribution Center

It will handle warehousing and logistics services for aftermarket brake pads, rotors, brake fluid and related components.

Brembo will open a new aftermarket distribution center in the Memphis metropolitan area in November.

The distribution center will handle warehousing and logistics services for the company’s aftermarket brake pads, rotors, brake fluid and related components. The facility is strategically located near Brembo’s expanding group of customers in the United States and Canada and will provide best-in-class service levels including a substantial reduction in lead time, said the company.

“Product availability, excellent delivery performance and being close to our customers have always been our main priorities,” said Dan Sandberg, Brembo North America president and CEO. “This new facility will help us to substantially improve our service levels to our aftermarket partners.  We’ve greatly expanded our line of brake pads, rotors and brake fluid and this new facility will ensure that our customers have immediate access to these products, which cover over 90 percent of vehicles in operation in North America today.”

As the original equipment (OE) manufacturer of choice on many applications, Brembo continues to expand its aftermarket product line with the same OE brake component expertise that goes into a large percentage of cars, trucks and SUVs on U.S. and Canadian streets today.

Brembo’s aftermarket rotors are UV-coated, which ensures greater resistance to corrosion and temperature and helps maintain a new look longer than uncoated rotors. Brembo’s pad product line is also unique in that it offers both NAO/Ceramic and Low Met formulations to meet the needs of all customers, added the company.
