YANG Accepting Speaker Applications For New Rapid-Fire Presentations At 2018 Leadership Conference

This year's conference features a new educational session titled "Five for Five," which will include multiple five-minute presentations that share ideas in a concise, engaging way from speakers across the industry. Following the five-minute presentations will be a small-group roundtable session led by each presenter to discuss the bite-sized takeaways from their topics.

The Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG), a community of the Auto Care Association, recently announced it is accepting speaker applications for its new “Five for Five” rapid-fire style presentations feature of the 2018 YANG Leadership Conference. The annual conference is scheduled to take place May 11-12 in Atlanta.

The YANG Leadership Conference caters to the under-40 group of young professionals in the auto care industry and provides a forum for attendees to enhance leadership skills, sharpen global perspective of the industry and develop new relationships with peers.

This year’s conference features a new educational session titled “Five for Five,” which will include multiple five-minute presentations that share ideas in a concise, engaging way from speakers across the industry. Industry professionals interested in submitting an application should choose a presentation topic relevant to young professionals in the auto care industry. Potential topics can include but are not limited to: leadership, negotiating, management skills and time-management skills. Because the goal of this educational session is to be fast-paced and engaging, presentations submitted for consideration must fit the five minutes, five slides requirement.

The deadline to submit applications is April 4. All applicants should be registered for the conference or must register for the conference upon selection. To access the online presentation application form, click here.
