MOOG ‘Problem Solver Of The Year’ Award Presented To Ryan Newman Crew Chief Matt Borland

Federal-Mogul Corporation presented the $100,000 MOOG Steering and Suspension “Problem Solver of the Year” Award to Matt Borland, crew chief for Ryan Newman and the MOOG-equipped No. 39 Quicken Loans Chevrolet SS, during the NASCAR NMPA Myers Brothers Award Luncheon in Las Vegas last week. Borland is the sixth winner of the prestigious annual award, which recognizes the top-performing crew chief in Sprint Cup Series competition.

Shop Owner Elected 2014 NASTF Chair

Allen Pennebaker, owner of Orinda Motors of Orinda, CA, has been elected 2014 chair of the NASTF board of directors, the first independent shop owner chair of NASTF since its founding in 2000. Pennebaker has served on the NASTF Board for many years as a representative of the Automotive Service Council of California.

Federated And KOI To Host 54th Annual Cavalcade Of Customs In Cincinnati

Federated and its long time member KOI Auto Parts are partnering again to host the 54th annual Cavalcade of Customs and Training Expo in Cincinnati, OH, Jan. 10-12 at the Duke Energy Convention Center. The training sessions will feature 28 different classes conducted at various times for a total of 84 available courses.
