Elite Worldwide Hosts Fundraiser For Canine Cancer Research

The collaboration well-exceeded the fundraising goal for the Canine Cancer Research Division of Tufts University.

Elite Worldwide announced the end of its successful campaign to raise money and awareness for canine cancer research. Elite’s Top Dogs: Putting People (and their Pets) First is a partnership with Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. The fundraiser ran from October 18th to December 3rd.

“I am pleased to report we well-exceeded our goal by raising $3,275 for the Canine Cancer Research Division of Tufts University. I would also like to personally thank all of you that contributed to the fundraiser, because your contributions will not only benefit our canine friends, but all type of animals, and for generations to come,” said Bob Cooper, president of Elite.

The Oncology program at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts is on the cutting edge in medical research, radiation therapy, and surgical techniques for companion animals. Elite’s goal was to raise $3,000 dollars to help provide state-of-the-art compassionate care for animals with cancer, and exceeded that goal, raising $3,275 dollars.

Elite says it looks forward to the day when cancer prevention and successful treatment are a reality for our deeply loved animals.
