Lineup for AAPEX Learning Forum Hot Topic Sessions

Among the 30 education sessions scheduled for the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) Learning Forum, six hot topic sessions will focus on timely issues impacting all channels of the aftermarket. Topics include new OEM engine oils, imports, health care legislation, consumer buying habits, global markets and strategies for economic downturn.

Time Running Out to Lock in Discounted Hotel Rates for AAPEX

AAPEX attendees should act now to lock in discounted early-bird rates at many Las Vegas hotels ranging from 10 to 30 percent. AAPEX organizers have also negotiated the elimination of resort fees at most hotels resulting in additional savings of up to $20 per night.

AAPEX Organizers Expand Education Program

In response to attendee feedback calling for more education and training opportunities at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX), the “Inside Track” Learning Forum has been expanded to include 28 education seminars. All sessions will be held over a three-day period in the Venetian in Las Vegas, NV, Tuesday, Nov. 2 through Thursday, Nov. 4.

AMI Accepting Applications for Six Scholarships

The Automotive Management Institute (AMI) is accepting applications for the following six scholarships to be awarded this year: the Emil Stanley Merit Award, the BodyShop Business Magazine Scholarship, the Gale Westerlund/Richard Cossette Memorial Scholarship, the Tom B.
