Automotive instructors are invited to attend “Inside AAPEX for Automotive Instructors” on Wednesday, Nov. 6 and Thursday, Nov. 7 at the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) in Las Vegas. Attendees will learn about new technology, meet with manufacturer product managers and trainers, and earn National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) credit hours.
Management, Technology Products Highlight CARS Show Floor
The show floor at Automotive Service and Repair Week (ASRW) will feature an area called the Business and Technology Pavilion, which is a collection of exhibiting companies that each feature business enhancement products and services for all automotive shops. ASRW will take place Thursday and Friday, Oct. 17-18, with education beginning Wednesday, Oct. 16, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
2014 DENSO Wiper Blade Catalog Is Now Available
DENSO Products and Services Americas, Inc. recently released its new 2014 catalog for DENSO First Time Fit wiper blades. The new catalog features 82 part numbers that cover more than 224 million vehicles in operation and now offers coverage that includes 2013 applications. The catalog includes wiper blades for automotive, light truck and van applications in sizes ranging from 12 to 28 inches long.

ALI Lift Inspector Certification Program Expands Computer-Based Testing Into Canada
Canadian candidates enrolled in the Automotive Lift Institute (ALI) Lift Inspector Certification Program now have more options for taking the two required program exams. ALI had previously offered only paper and pencil versions of its Pre-Course Exam and Course Exam on specific dates in Canada. The organization will now offer computer-based versions of the exams on-demand at testing centers across Canada.
