JC Washbish, vice chairman of the Young Auto Care Network (YANG), recently sat down with aftermarketNews to talk about the exciting new initiatives YANG leadership is executing for 2018, including the upcoming YANG Leadership Conference, which will be held in conjunction with the Auto Care Association Leadership Days in May in Atlanta.
The YANG event included a “TED talk” style presentation by NGK Spark Plugs’ Senior Vice President of Aftermarket Mike Schwab.
“We are proud to host these outstanding young people during our industry’s Leadership Days,” said John Washbish, president and CEO of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, which is headquartered in San Antonio. “These folks are tomorrow’s leaders. It was a real treat to host and welcome everyone to our hometown.”
Join us from 6-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 16 at Great Lakes Brewing Company in Cleveland for a fun evening of networking, beer tasting and more.
Since YANG started the Regional Meet-Up program, there have been more than 20 meetups across the United States, designed specifically for young professionals in the auto care industry.
YANG continues to offer industry professionals under the age of 40 opportunities to grow through webinars, educational conferences and industry-wide networking events. The group completed another round of successful events at AAPEX 2016 and continues to evolve its member offerings.
