Women’s Board To Unveil New Brand At AAPEX

The group's new name, Women in Auto Care, was chosen in response to the WB's massive growth and upcoming initiatives to establish itself in a leadership position around the globe.

wb-logoThe Car Care Council Women’s Board (WB), the original and leading organization for women in the auto care industry, is celebrating its 20th anniversary by announcing a new name and rebranding effort at AAPEX 2016.

The group’s new name, Women in Auto Care, was chosen in response to the WB’s massive growth and upcoming initiatives to establish itself in a leadership position around the globe.

“This year has been outstanding, with two successful leadership conferences and our membership, benefits and sponsor partnerships have continued to accelerate,” said Amy Mattinat, president, Car Care Council Women’s Board. “Since 1996, we have grown from a ‘board’ of a selection of elite women professionals to a membership organization of more than 200 auto care professionals dedicated to providing opportunities, education and career leadership to women in the industry.”

This rebranding effort was championed on behalf of the WB by member Lisa Rodriguez, owner, Soaring Marketing LLC. The new name, logo and more information will be officially unveiled at this year’s annual press conference at AAPEX, at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at The Venetian Casanova Room 505. The Women in Auto Care brand will continue its roll-out process throughout the upcoming year with new programs, initiatives, opportunities, communications platforms and more.
