In addition, those seeking internships can easily view all available internships by visiting autocarecareers.org/jobs and clicking on the "Internships" button.

Auto care industry companies can post internship positions at no charge on the Auto Care Careers Industry Job Board at autocarecareers.org/employers.

In addition, those seeking internships can easily view all available internships by visiting autocarecareers.org/jobs and clicking on the “Internships” button.

“To make it easier for auto care industry companies and qualified interns to connect, we have added new features to AutoCareCareers.org,” said Katy McQuiston, manager, job and career development, Auto Care Association. “Prospective interns can now quickly scan available internships and employers can post these sought-after positions free of charge.”

To bridge the distance between talented students and industry companies, Auto Care Careers offers internship scholarships to help ease the financial burden of temporary relocation for interns traveling more than 100 miles from their permanent address to the internship, including the costs of travel, lodging, utilities and meals during the internship period.

Auto Care Careers Internship Scholarships are valued at $2,500 and are intended for those who have secured an internship with direct application to the auto care industry. To apply for one of the 22 available scholarships by the June 30, 2017 deadline, visit the “Get Started” section of the AutoCareCareers.org website at: autocarecareers.org/get-started/internships-scholarships/auto-care-association-awda-internship-program/.

“Internships give the next generation a chance to gain valuable, real-world experience and the Auto Care Careers Internship Scholarships defray the cost of their expenses. It’s a win-win for interns and employers,” concluded McQuiston.
