In celebration of National Car Care Month in April, the Car Care Council suggests adding a link to the digital version of the Car Care Guide to your business website as an online reference for your customers. This simple step only takes seconds to do, and it’s another opportunity to improve your customer relationships and increase service and repair business, according to the Car Care Council.

“More and more motorists are turning to the Internet to find information about vehicle repair and preventative maintenance and where to have their vehicles serviced,” said Rich White, executive director, Car Care Council. “Having a link to the digital version of the Car Care Guide on your own shop’s website is a helpful asset for your customers as well as an easy way to participate in National Car Care Month.” Print versions of the popular Car Care Guides can also be ordered online to have on-hand as a give-away to your customers to help educate them about the importance and benefits of regular vehicle maintenance.
The Car Care Guide uses easy-to-understand everyday language, instead of technical automotive jargon, and it fits easily in a glove box. The guide covers the most common preventive maintenance occasions and procedures that need to be performed to keep cars safe, dependable and efficient. It also includes descriptions of 12 major vehicle systems and parts, and a list of questions to ask when maintenance or repair procedures are being performed on a vehicle. A Car Care Checklist reminds motorists what vehicle systems need to be maintained and when service or repair should be performed. And, sections on fuel economy and environmental awareness show consumers how to get better gas mileage and make their vehicles more environmentally friendly.
Car Care Guides can be ordered at the Car Care Council’s new online store http://members.printable.com/burtonmayer/aaia.
The council welcomes shops, stores and aftermarket organizations to link to the digital Car Care Guide at www.carcare.org/car-care-guide.
