NACE/CARS, which will be held July 30
through Aug. 2 at COBO Center in Detroit, will offer special recognition to
attendees who have a proven commitment to collision repair training through
achievement of I-CAR Gold Class recognition or ASE Blue Seal certification.
Collision and Service Repair facility personnel who belong to an I-CAR Gold
Class business or hold the ASE Blue Seal certification will receive a 50
percent discount on the training and conference sessions at NACE/CARS 2014. In
addition, any individual who is currently I-CAR Platinum or an ASE Master
Technician will be entitled to the same 50 percent discount. This discount
includes individual sessions through the Super Pass that covers sessions during
the entire conference.
“We want those who have achieved the
highest levels of industry-recognized training and certification to be rewarded
for their achievements,” stated Dan Risley, ASA president and executive director.
“This is a great way to highlight an elite group and to encourage their ongoing
technical and business education.”
“As technology advancements dictate a
necessary evolution in repairability, more collision repair businesses than
ever are adopting a learning culture to ensure that they are able to perform
safe and quality repairs,” added John Van Alstyne, I-CAR CEO and president. “I
applaud NACE and CARS for recognizing this commitment to education and
knowledge by giving back to the businesses and individuals who train.”
“ASE’s relationship with NACE and CARS
goes back to the very beginning of the event, and we are pleased to once again
be a part of this significant educational opportunity for the industry,” said
Tony Molla, ASE vice president of communications. “We also salute the efforts
to encourage professionalism with this generous discount program for our ASE
certified professionals and the businesses that employ them.”
