Federal-Mogul reports that it has introduced several innovative, first-to-market MOOG steering and suspension components and launched another in a long series of MOOG coverage expansions for popular Asian and European applications. With an array of premium repair solutions including exclusive Problem Solver designs the MOOG brand offers the aftermarket’s most complete steering and suspension product line, according to Federal-Mogul.
Among the new MOOG parts is a Problem Solver upper ball joint (#K500119) that enables technicians to replace the original parts on 2003-2007 Cadillac CTS models without purchasing complete control arm assemblies. Other new components with problem solving technology are outer tie rod ends (#ES800593, right; #ES800594, left) that replace the original parts on 2007-2010 Jeep Wrangler models.
Federal-Mogul says it also has continued its aggressive expansion of MOOG coverage for foreign-nameplate vehicles, with the following new parts now available through North American distributors:
#ES800589 and #ES800590 – Acura TL (2009-2010) outer tie rod ends, right and left
#ES800591 and #ES800592 – Honda Fit (2009-2010) and Honda Insight (2010) outer tie rods, right and left
#K700341 and #K700342 – Mercedes-Benz C300, C350 and C63 Amg (2008-2009) rear sway bar link kits, right and left
