The Friday morning keynote was given by DRIVE coach Wenceslao Severi. The energetic presentation covered a variety of topics but focused on concurring common fears shop owners can develop. 

“Fear is often the block,” said Severi. “95 percent of the fears will never happen.”

Severi highlighted several business cases where the idea and execution determined success, like the water-powered car and novelty banana cutter.

At the keynote, DRIVE distributed the latest edition of the book Overdrive. The book was written for shop owners as a guidebook that covers all aspects of shop management and promises to start a training revolution. 

“The book contains more than 300 pages of pure content,” said Severi. “Overdrive has 28 master training techniques that can help shop owners turn second-hand knowledge into first-hand knowledge.”
