DRIVE Expo 2019 Achieves Record-Breaking Attendance

Hundreds of attendees were able to network with fellow shop owners and learn from automotive aftermarket executives during the event.

A record-breaking number of attendees and industry sponsors were on hand for the three-day DRIVE Expo, which took place Sept. 27-29 in Pomona, California.

A record number of best-in-class sponsors and vendors participated in the EXPO, including BOLT ON TECHNOLOGY, Meritor, AutoVitals, EasyPay Finance, NAPA AutoCare, Tekmetric and PPG.

During the expo, DRIVE CEO Bill Kilpatrick announced he will deliver two workshops in February: “How to Train Your Team” and “How to Master Training.” Designed and created by Kilpatrick, attendees of these workshops will gain the skills and confidence to train their shop’s crew and super-charge their businesses’ efficiency and production.

Kilpatrick will deliver “How to Train Your Team” on Feb. 24 and 25, and “How to Master Training” on April 20 and 21.

“I’ve created these two DRIVE workshops to address the specific needs of our clients who want to gain the skills and confidence to train their team to make a huge impact on their shop’s growth and success,” Kilpatrick said.

During the Expo Awards Dinner, DRIVE recognized clients who have sustained high production and efficiency benchmarks with the Effective Shop Manager and Competent Shop Owner awards, as well as the coveted and hard-earned Master of Shop Management Award, which recognizes a shop that is efficient, stable and profitable.

In addition to these expo highlights, DRIVE announced a new partnership with AAA. DRIVE will reveal more details in the future.
