The skilled diagnostic technician is a critical piece to all repairs in both the collision and mechanical segments.

With manufacturers such as Tesla, Waymo, Cruise and Ford leading the way and nearly 30 other companies all racing to our future of autonomous vehicles, there’s little doubt that collision, mechanical and transportation technology will continue to cross over.

Collision industry expert Mitch Becker says the technology itself may not be directly linked, but some of the theory of operation may be. If the future of vehicles communicating and working together on the roadway becomes a reality, the crossover may be closer than we think.
