MACS Worldwide Section 609 Technician Training Program, Updated For R-1234yf, Approved By U.S. EPA

The Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) Worldwide will roll out a new Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling Technician Certification Training Program on Jan. 1, 2015. MACS will initiate proctored training, self-study training and online training simultaneously on that date.

The University of the Aftermarket Foundation will award an additional $100,000 in scholarships in 2015, according to Tim Lee, chairman of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation. The increase will bring the total amount of scholarships awarded to $230,000.
