Bosch Announces Warranty Update To North America Fuel Pump Program

Effective Oct. 1, all Bosch fuel pump part numbers active in the North American catalog are covered by a limited lifetime warranty.

Robert Bosch LLC has announced a warranty update to the Bosch North America fuel pump program. Effective Oct. 1, all Bosch fuel pump part numbers active in the North American catalog are covered by a limited lifetime warranty.

bosch_fuelpumps“Today’s fuel pumps can be made up of well over 50 different components. Because of this increase in complexity, replacing a fuel pump can cost as much as five times what it did just 10 years ago,” said Carey Banks, senior product manager, Bosch Automotive Aftermarket NA. “This is why our customers now, more than ever, need reliable replacement fuel pumps backed by a warranty that aligns with a commitment to providing high, OE-quality fuel pumps to the aftermarket.”

Constantly evolving technologies and state-of-the-art manufacturing over the past 35 years have allowed Bosch to supply fuel pumps with exceptional tolerances and design, the company says. Compared to conventional pumps, Bosch Fuel Pumps deliver 30 percent higher efficiency and the precise fuel supply required for a partial or full load – saving fuel and reducing CO2 emissions.

The Bosch OE fuel pump portfolio for the aftermarket has always offered service technicians great value in terms of quality, coverage and price point when replacing fuel modules for many domestic, Asian and European applications.
