Auto Value & Bumper to Bumper Wrap Up Hawaii Getaway

Grand prize-winning guests bid farewell to Oahu after spending a week there as part of the “Hawaii Getaway” promotion.

Grand prize-winning guests bid farewell to Oahu, Hawaii, after spending a week vacation in paradise as part of the Auto Value & Bumper to Bumper “Hawaii Getaway” promotion. One hundred attendees flew to the Aloha state for a vacation filled with adventures, relaxation, site-seeing excursions, and a reverential trip to Pearl Harbor.

“Promotional events like this one, with trips of a lifetime are very special,” said Justin Hebert, director of category management and commercial vehicle and heavy duty at the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc. “The support and participation from our channel partners mean so much not only to the grand prize winners, but the entire Auto Value & Bumper to Bumper family. It’s these kinds of partnerships that truly make a difference and allow us to bring another level of service to our customers.”

Each qualifying invoice, as well as daily incremental purchase totals earned shop owners and technicians entries into the promotional sweepstakes. In total, nearly 1.3 million entries were collected during the months of September, October, and November of 2022. In addition to sweepstakes grand-prize winners, other Hawaii packages were awarded in November 2022 at the Aftermarket Jackpot Convention in Las Vegas. Valued Channel Partners, including BBB Industries, Dorman, DRiV, East Penn, Lumileds, Standard Motor Products, and Valvoline encouraged Jackpot attendees to visit their AAPEX booths, speak with their professional staff, get scanned and earn a chance to win a trip of a lifetime.

“This truly was a vacation of a lifetime; it lived up to the billing,” said Russell Godsey, owner of Duck’s Garage in Benton, AR, and customer of Parts Warehouse Inc. “From start to finish we couldn’t have asked for a better time and more gracious hosts. Winning the trip on stage in Las Vegas was a surprise, and we want to sincerely thank the sponsors who helped make this dream trip come true.”

The Hawaii Getaway itinerary included a visit to Pearl Harbor with an exclusive reception and dinner, a turtle snorkeling adventure in the beautiful waters off Oahu, an adventure to Kualoa Ranch for a full day of outdoor excursion activities and plenty time at Waikiki beach.

“We are a busy, heavy-duty repair shop and a proud customer of Arnold Motor Supply. Getting to come Oahu, leave the shop behind for a bit and experience a trip like this is out of this world,” said Brett DeBruin, owner of Outer Limits Truck Repair Inc, in Oskaloosa, IA. “We appreciate the opportunity to be here and look forward to our continued partnership with Arnold Motor Supply and everyone at Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper.”

The week concluded with a private farewell reception and dinner on Saturday evening before Sunday departures. The reception included custom “MyPlace Mai Tai” cocktails and guests enjoyed Hawaiian culture, music, and performances throughout the evening.

“Auto Value & Bumper to Bumper really know how to treat their customers, this was exceptional. Having other like-minded shop owners come together for an event like this, it was an opportunity of a lifetime,” said Joel Henslee, from Quality Brakes & Alignment in Cleburne, TX, and customer of 4M Parts Warehouse. “We thank everyone involved for making this trip the most unforgettable, and one we will treasure forever.”
