ACDelco Expands Professional Water Pump Line

ACDelco has added five new water pump part numbers to its Professional lineup, representing more than 200 additional non-GM vehicle makes and models. With more than 700 total part numbers, ACDelco now covers 94 percent of both GM and non-GM water pump applications dating back to 1986.

Here are the new ACDelco part numbers and make/model applications:

• 252-985: Covers 2003-‘05 Ford Escape, Ford Taurus, Mercury Sable
• 2003-‘06 Mazda MPV; 2005, 2006, 2008 Mazda Tribute and 2005 Mercury Mariner
• 252-988: Covers 1987-2000 various Chrysler, Dodge, Hyundai, Mitsubishi and Plymouth sedans, minivans and full-size trucks
• 252-991: 2011-‘15 Ford F-150 and Ford Mustang

Designed and built to meet the latest manufacturer-specified designs, ACDelco water pumps, available in both cast-iron and aluminum, are thoroughly pressure-tested to prevent leaks and feature uniform wall sections and smooth coolant-flow cavities for efficient operation and superior engine protection, the company says.

ACDelco adds that high-quality bearings, heat-treated impellers and coated seals mean long life and trouble-free ownership. All required gaskets are included in the packaging, too, which helps guarantee all necessary parts are available to complete the job.

All ACDelco Professional water pumps are covered by a 12-month/12,000-mile limited warranty. When the water pumps are installed by a Professional Service Center program participant, consumers are eligible for 12 months of free roadside assistance.
