The Automotive Communication Council (ACC) will host a panel discussion titled, “Pushing Your Message All the Way Up” as part of the AAPEXedu education program at AAPEX in Las Vegas. The session will be held from 2-3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at the Venetian Hotel.

The panel will be moderated by Tom Marx, The Marx Group. Panelists include:
• Carri Irby, Tenneco Inc.
• David Wofford, National Pronto Association
• Rick Urso, Meineke Car Care Center

The panel will address a longstanding concern of service professionals about confusing messages from manufacturers. Too often what was intended to be a strong message gets watered down as it gets funneled through distributors, repair shops, and finally, out to the consumer. The panel will discuss how suppliers can effectively use traditional, digital and social media to push their message all the way up the chain, through the distributor and jobber, up to the repair shop and to the consumer.

Attendees will learn:
• How marketing messages and content help technicians and shop owners.
• What types of marketing content are most effective for technicians and consumers.
• How distributors play an important role in pushing the message up the chain.

This program will be beneficial to wholesalers, warehouse distributors, manufacturers and repair shops. You also can expect to see, jobbers, retailers, parts stores, manufacturers’ representatives, exporters, importers, service chains, consultants, suppliers, international visitors and other stakeholders in the global auto care industry in attendance at this session.
